Steve's Show Notes (edited from his Crowesbase post):
- Gov't Mule opened
- A pretty nice theater for a Midwest venue, can't say the same for the crowd, however...
- This was one really weird show, a very herky-jerky setlist with LOTS of "non-singles" for songs performed. It was still a treat due to the
choice of songs played...would be rated a 9 except for Raoul coming out and chastising my picture taking (the ONLY show he did this out of 17
shows, always during a ballad {GFAP, SL, HMFYW}), which interrupts the vibe. There are TWO other versions out there superior to mine (Mike
Wolf's and Darren Brewer's), so be sure to seek them out!
Rating : 8/10
Chris's Rant (after Remedy):
"Hey everybody! The most ignorant drunk rednecks in the place are fighting. What a fantastic thing, huh? (long pause) You're never gonna have
any fun if you don't grow up there, buddy! (crowd cheers) And maybe you should quit gettin' so drunk and maybe get a girlfriend, you won't be
so worked up... (crowd cheers again) ANYWAYS, see you all later, PEACE, thank you very much!"
