Opening night of this particular part of the tour, and the band seemed pretty tight. Interesting stage set up, and I enjoyed the "1972" covers, though hoped for "Rocks Off." This is about the sixth time I've seen The Black Crowes since January 1991, and the "Shake Your Money Maker" material came across really strong. Crowes fans have heard these songs a zillion times, but the live arrangements always pack a punch. Chris was animated with his moves and looked like quite the rock star. I really like that the siblings are back together, and hopefully this means some new material in 2023, but who knows. They really stretched out "Thorn in My Pride," which was nice. I was hoping for some stuff off the "Before the Frost...Until the Freeze" album, which I thought was a great album. The best Crowes shows I saw was in 2009 at an outdoor ampitheater in Pompano Beach, FL, where a number of songs from this album were played. Still, this was definitely a good night. My first time taping since pre-pandemic in 2019.

Drivin' N Cryin' was the opening band. I taped them as well, but missed the first song and a small portion of the second. The show was supposed to start at 8 p.m. but Drivin' N Cryin' came on about 7:45 p.m. and I still was getting my gear set up. I will upload the Drivin' N Cryin' set later.

I should add that I am firewalled, and I really don't know how to fix that. Hopefully someone can connect.
